Good news right at the start of the year: an independent jury of experts led by the industry magazine inVISION has once again awarded the top ten innovations of the year. This is the eighth time that the industry magazine for machine vision, AI and metrology has honored innovative companies and their products. The awards are given to inspection solutions for particularly innovative technologies or interaction concepts that enable more accurate, better or simpler inspections.
We are extremely excited and honored to receive this award. We are proud that Twyn was able to convince the jury and would like to thank everyone involved for the award!
The degree of innovation and the simple and efficient operation via tablet were decisive for awarding Twyn: The mobile inspection system uses augmented reality (AR) for a flexible, location-independent and highly efficient quality inspection of components or entire assemblies. Through the camera of a tablet, Twyn automatically locates, registers and tracks inspection parts. Using CAD data and augmented reality, a digital twin is then superimposed directly onto the object. Deviations from target and actual thus become directly visible.
