Speed wins the race: Visometry showcases next-gen AR quality inspection with Twyn 2.4 at Control 2025

Darmstadt. Visometry, a pioneer of industrial augmented reality (AR) solutions, is set to unveil the latest generation of its AR-based quality inspection technology at Control 2025. From May 6 to 9 in Stuttgart, Germany, visitors to booth 3419 in hall 3 can experience Twyn 2.4, Visometry’s newest tool for remarkably fast and flexible visual quality inspections. To demonstrate how the solution can improve everyday manufacturing workflows, Visometry is bringing a real showstopper on wheels.

Quality professionals, especially those working in manufacturing and assembly, are all too familiar with situations where a spontaneous, flexible AR-based object inspection using only a tablet would get them out of a pinch. With Twyn 2.4, Visometry delivers exactly that. A highlight of the release is the new Assisted Deviation Detection feature, which provides real-time visual feedback by automatically detecting discrepancies between a physical object and its CAD model, even when no time-consuming data preparation has taken place. Twyn 2.4 will make its debut at Control 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for quality assurance.

At Visometry’s booth 3419 in hall 3, attendees will have the chance to get an up-close look at the street-legal lightweight race car Sigma WR, developed by the up-and-coming company Sigma Motor. At the heart of the car is an ultra-rigid tubular frame. To quickly and reliably inspect the frame’s numerous welds, reinforcements, and mounting points, the Sigma Motor team relies on Visometry’s advanced AR technology. It’s just one example of how Twyn is already making an impact in the automotive world. Automotive is just one of many industries and sectors benefiting from Visometry’s leadership in AR-driven quality assurance. The company’s solutions are also used across rail, agricultural machinery, heavy equipment, shipbuilding, aerospace, and welding applications.

Visit us at Control 2025 and see how effortless quality inspection can be,” says Dr. Harald Wuest, CEO of Visometry.
