Do-it-Yourself Tracking Target Kit

VisionLib’s Model Tracking needs both, a physical object to be tracked, and a 3D model of it as tracking reference.

For testing and demo purposes, we’ve created do-it-yourself tracking targets of a car, a sport’s car and a caravan, which you can craft from paper. It is used throughout all our tutorials and in our VisionLib Demo app.

Image Sequences for Testing

VisionLib handles not only live camera data as input sources, but so called image sequences as well. For testing purposes and our tutorials, you can download prepared sequences below:

Camera Calibration Pattern

Well-calibrated device optics are key for Augmented Reality. While VisionLib includes calibration data for major devices, we recommend to calibrate not-included, special or custom hardware, because it deeply improves tracking and superimposition results.

Please print at 100% scale. The picture’s long edge should be 26,9 cm tall when printed.
